Talk Title: Artificial Intelligence at Work: Uses and Opportunities
An informative look at what impact Artificial Intelligence is having on the world. This talk explains what AI is and why business should take an interest this emerging technology. The rise of AI due to large amounts of data, availability of tools and on-demand computation has led to many AI-based applications, but also lots of hype and issues with bias and privacy.
Dr. John Flackett will also highlight some of the main considerations as companies plan to start their AI journey and outline what immediate steps can be taken to start embracing AI as well as what the future holds.
CPA Australia (Certified Practising Accountant) Congress for 2019 is titled 'Get Ready for Business as Usual' and is held across multiple locations in Australia and around the globe. The Congress in Adelaide is a two day event which incorporates keynotes/talks and workshops that focuses on two themes, Accounting for the Robots and the Future of Digital Money.
