Machine Learning for dementia datathon at University of Exeter, UK

Calling all Data Scientists! The University of Exeter in the UK have announced a Machine Learning for dementia datathon on 1-3 May 2019. Join fellow innovators at the forefront of data science to develop new ways of predicting & diagnosing dementia with real-world clinical data. The datathon is in collaboration with the University of Exeter, Alzheimer’s Research UK, Dementias Platform UK, & the Alan Turing Institute. Apply by 15 April 2019. European Commission work on Artificial Intelligence ethics guidelines

The European Commission are taking forward the work of the High-Level Expert Group (independent experts appointed in June 2018) & have presented the next steps for building trust in Artificial Intelligence. They are setting out the key requirements for trustworthy AI & are launching a large scale pilot phase for feedback from stakeholders, whilst working on international consensus building for human-centric AI.
